Wall Sconces

These sconces were intended for commercial application. Devoid of ornament they adhere to the tenets of good design according to the Bauhaus.  Ati Gropius Johansen’s recalled that her father, ”liked them for their use of chrome and the simplicity of the half sphere, and straight forward attachment to the wall.”
