Wall of the Moon

Walter Gropius was involved in commissioning and executing two ceramic murals for the walls of the TAC designed UNESCO building in Paris. Miró completed the “Wall of the Moon” mural in 1958. “Wall of the Moon” and “Wall of the Sun” were completed in 1957 and in 1958, won the Guggenheim International Award.  Galerie Maeght presented this silk screen print to Walter and Ise Gropius.
