Celebrate: Portrait of Robert Harcourt Twycross

Robert Twycross joined his brother Stephen, already an established jeweler, in London for an apprenticeship at the end of the eighteenth century. As proof of his skill Robert sent this large gold-framed miniature portrait, with curls of his hair wrapped in gold wire, to his mother in Maine.
