Celebrate: Jewelry Set

Stephen Henry Phillips chose an enormous necklace of gold links from Boston jewelers Shreve, Crump & Low for his bride-to-be. A gold cross pendant and earrings, embellished with natural pearls, completed the set. After their 1871 wedding, Margaret Duncan Phillips wore the cross as a brooch.
