Celebrate: Brooch

Begun in Britain at the start of World War II (c. 1940), the “V for Victory” campaign soon spread around the globe. Charities sold inexpensive tie tacks to raise money, but the movement expanded and designers soon offered jeweled and enameled victory brooches.
