Birthday Card: Philip Johnson, 1943

Philip Johnson (1906-2005) American architect, is best known for his works of Modern architecture, including the Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut. A graduate of Harvard, he also studied under Marcel Breuer, and became a proponent of the International Style.
