Birthday Card: Walter and Edith Bogner, 1943

Neighbors in Lincoln, Walter Bogner, Marcel Breuer and Walter Gropius are considered pioneers in modern architecture and amongst the most influential architects of the 20th century. Bogner’s house, just down the hill from the Gropiuses, was designed by Bogner and build in 1939, also funded by Helen Storrow. Like the Gropiuses, the Bogners lived in the house they designed for the rest of their lives.
